The Surgery

The medical legal reporting business is based at Mr Mannings office and consulting rooms in Rainhill, Merseyside. This is a quiet residential area with good on-street parking. The surgery, which has wheelchair access, is well equipped with a comfortable waiting room and W.C.

A personal assistant is on hand to arrange appointments, greet patients and answer any questions they may have.

Location

The surgery is situated approximately 1 mile from the M62 Junction 7, ideally positioned between Liverpool and Manchester, and a short walk from the centre of Rainhill village. There is also ample on-street parking available on the quiet access road to the surgery.

Staff

Mr Manning was born in South Yorkshire, educated in Barnsley, Sheffield and Huddersfield, and graduated with Honours from the University of Liverpool School of Medicine in 1979. He went on to train in surgery in general, and then specialised in Orthopaedic Surgery. Higher surgical training, which included fellowships in Wrightington Hospital and Harvard University, was completed in 1992 and since 1993 Mr Manning has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust. Mr Manning is also happy to see private patients at Fairfield Independent Hospital and to accept instructions from solicitors or their agents to undertake medico-legal work.

The Practice Manager is Sue Manning. Sue has managed both the private and medico-legal practices for the past seven years. Her role includes daily administration and financial organisation of the business.
